We would like to thank you for your prayer support to help us reach Hong Kong and China with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We
would like to share some pictures of the younger children at the Sheung Shui
Church that we ministering to, also a group of older youth, inside of China,
praying one for the other. Your
support has helped us bring these children closer to the Lord.
They help in the service, they sing and sometime they use the projector
to put the songs on the screen, like the picture below.
I took these picture this past Sunday.
Just wanted you to get a closer look at some you are helping us reach
from the youth to the elders. The
future of the Church is in the children, and these kids are wonderful.
I just received a report from our Philippine work, where we spent 19 years, before coming to China. The overseer for the center of the Islands Pastor Huerte writes, “I am glad you are planning to rebuild the Church in Cabancalan because it been a long time and the plywood and other materials are needing replacements. The Mactan Island, Lapu Lapu city church is fine, as it is made out of concrete.” We are wanting to take a trip to Cebu Island early next year, and hope we will have funds to either repair or move the building to a larger location. The highway has widened the road in front, and the road is only a foot or so from the main door. They are talking of widening the road behind the church, that would cut into the building itself. They need a larger building since they have grown in the past 15 years. The Pastor gave a report of 6 new churches being dedicated in the area. He would like to have a motorcycle to use to reach all the church work there. If the Lord lays an amount on your heart please mark your check for the Philippines and we will put it all together and see if we can help them there as well as in China. The works we started 35 years ago, are still there, and still reaching out, and the last I heard the fellowship we helped has over 600 Churches now. Carol’s Dad, Eugene Garrett did a real good work, getting the work started. We in the south, and Brother Garrett up north, and now the Pastors and elders carry on the ministry there.
