Christ
Around the World

Dear Friends
& Internet friends;
We would like to welcome you to read what God has done at the
end of 2000. Thank you for your faithful prayer support, to help
us reach Hong Kong and China with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Please check out all the newsletters for the past few
years, so you can see what prayers and support has done, in the
name of God.

The Lord has been blessing as you can see, at the beginning of
service on 24th of December 2000. God blessed and we
ended with a full church, a good time of fellowship and most of
us going out for a good Chinese meal.
Thank you, for your prayers for Sister Carol as she is
doing better, with her health. She spent a few more days in the
Hospital last week for the pain in her abdomen. We believe God
for her complete healing. Above is a picture taken on the 25th
of December which is Sister Carol’s birthday and our Chinese
friend Mei-Lin birthday. We were invited to have a potluck meal
with the international folks, such as the children here from
Nigeria, and others. You can see here some of the children that
attend the Sunday school, here in the Sheung Shui, Church. We
believe God for another building, as we may have to move the
children services to that building so we can enlarge for the
regular services each week. The Saturday evening service is
proving to be a blessing and more are attending and seeking God.
Some will attend and stay over for the Sunday services that do
not end till about 2 P.M. Then the afternoon group cell meetings
follow that so each age group can share and pray each for the
other.
Carol and I would like again to thank you so very much for
being a mission prayer partner with us, and caring for us, as
well as the work of the Lord here in Asia. We have been
missionaries in this part of the world now for 37 years, and
Pioneers For Jesus is now 31 years old. If all goes well, we are
planning to return the middle of May, to repair our house in
Farmersburg. Then see what the renters have done to it, as it is
now six years since we been back to live in our house. We hope to
minister and look for more support for the ministry in Hong Kong,
and all China. Then return to see what new works can be done to
add to what the Lord has done already in our ministry to Asia.
One of our college youth are planning to make a Chinese
language web site for the Church here, so will link that to our
English site when all that comes to pass. We miss you all and
look forward to seeing you later this year, the Lord willing.
