Reaching Out to China
With
the Gospel of Christ
February & March 2001
Dear
Friends;

We would like to thank you for
your faithful prayer support which helps us to reach Hong Kong and China with
the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Time is flying it would seem,
God is blessing and answering prayer. Thank
you all, for your prayers for Sister Carol as you can see, she was ministering
with Pastor Amos translating for her, the members were so glad to see her home
from the hospital, and some of our youth group wanted to have a picture with
her.
The Church is planning to have at least two youth camps this summer, and if
anyone would like to support a young person, the cost is at least $35.00 for a
three day, two night youth meeting. We
have applied for the locations, and would like to ask you to pray that God will
bless. Two more young people gave their life to the Lord, this month, in the
bible classes. Praise the Lord. The youth camps draw a large number of non-Christian
youth and as you have seen in the pictures many find Christ as Lord and Savior,
are baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit of God, which helps them overcome the
temptation and problems they have.
Sister Carol and I are looking forward to ministry in the USA later this year,
the travel agent has given us very low price air fare, and only hope it is true,
so we can arrive in the USA the middle of May. We then travel to Indiana and
repair our home, as a house burned down near by, and the siding of our house
needs replacement. Please do pray the insurance will pay for such repair work,
as it will be now seven years since we been back for any length of time to the
our home. Since Sister Carol had so much trouble and pain
because of the side affects of medication the doctors gave her, I believe it
will be good for us to rest a while, and get to see the family and see the
Children and Grandchildren and while we do that, minister in the churches, as
God opens the doors. The
churches here are doing well, we have very good trained ministries, and they
assure me they will take care and God will bless.
We are keeping our Hong Kong Post office box, and Pastor Amos will keep a
check on that, after we leave here in May and until we get back to Hong Kong.
Till then we are busy here, with the church work and now are packing up boxes
and shipping them back, so we will not have so much to bring on the plane, these
last six years, we have accumulated a lot of things.
The picture on the left is part of the praise and worship service in the Sheung
Shui, Church, if you have any friends that read Chinese and are connected to the
internet they can go to the web site at http://go.to.cggc
and read all about the church. We
are working with and the location, services etc, if any of your Chinese friends
come to Hong Kong, they are welcome to attend.
Yours
