Dear Internet Friends;

 We would like to thank you for your faithful prayer support which helps us reach Hong Kong and China with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ

I was looking at some of our old pictures, when we were younger, and in the Jungles, I found this picture taken in 1978 of our family, from the left are Elizabeth, Martha, and Sister Carol with baby Patrisha, Eugene and myself.  We were a little thinner then, don’t you think?   This year we will have been in the mission work for Thirty-Seven years, from 1964 to now.  Pioneers for Jesus, was incorporated while we were in San Antonio, Texas, and I was getting my Bachelor degree in Theology from International Bible College in 1970.  Sister Knapp gave birth to our only Son, Eugene at that time. We would like to thank you for your support and care over these many years.  We do ask you to remember us, and our enlarged family and seven grandchildren in your prayers that the will of the Lord be done in all our lives.

This year we are planning two youth meetings, and as in the past, would like to be able to support ten to fifteen young people that would not be able to go without help.   Our youth camp meetings in the past have had mostly unchristian youth.  Many that is from Buddhism

We are thankful for your prayers for Sister Carol, after nearly a week each month in the Hospital because of immense stomach pains.  She had all kind of test, only to find the reason was the medicine the doctor gave her to replacement her nerve medication.  Now that she is off that, she has not had any more stomach pains or related problems.   She is having some problems adjusting to another kind of medication, and with menopause and her nerves, she can use all the prayers you can give.   She still has migraines has fallen a few times and her knees and ankles still hurts.  We are glad that all the testing they did do; show she is very healthy except for these problems, which was because of side effects of the medications they gave her.

Remember the Mainland China outreach, Pastor Amos, who had to make a trip to some members there because of problems.  Remember the Communist are going after spiritual ministries, because of a cult, and to them they group everyone Christian or cult, as against the Communist Nation.   Many churches have been destroyed and members jailed.   The area near to Hong Kong gives us some more freedom to preach, as the government want the visitor from all over the world to spend money in China, so in the cities, it is not too hard to minister, only it is against law and if they want to put presser on people they do.   Carol and I will planning to return to the USA for a time in mid-May to minister, and sharing with our supporters, what God is doing.  Then to returning to China, after next Christmas, as we have not had a Christmas with our children in years.   We hope to move into our house in Indiana that we left six years ago, and has been rented out, so will need to spend a while repairing and fixing it up again.   We ask you to keep praying for us, the work and that many souls will find the Lord as Christ in their life, both in the USA an in all of Asia.

 Yours missionaries in Jesus,
