November 20002 News Letter from Hong Kong, China
Dear Internet friends;
Thank you, for your support in prayer. This helps us in reaching China and Hong Kong with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Praise the Lord, God has answered our prayers, and with your prayers and support, we now have the completely third floor of a building above, which is really four floors up, as they also have a ground floor. You can see in these pictures that there is much to do yet to make it a Church. Below is some of the work being done, we had walls removed, a small platform is made, and Air Conditions will be put in. One family donated A hundred folding chairs, everyone is helping. The rental contract is for three years, with a renewal for another three after that, unless we need to move into a larger building at that time. Thank you so much for your help, I was able to give two thousand U.S. dollars toward the church to get it ready for services. Prayer meeting in the building starts November 23. I will preach this December 1, 2002. We hope to have the dedication service to link with the New Year.
It is so wonderful. I told them, God would enlarge us, as 8 years ago there was only nine of us, now over a hundred each service. The new church is in Fanling, where we live now. The small picture below is in the area where our apartment is located with the bus station across from it.
This month our musical group, will be in charge of the praise and worship at a healing meeting. We were able to upgrade that sound system, so we are ready for more open-air meetings. Again, thanks to our supporters and faithful givers, all helping together, we are getting God words out to the people. The name of Jesus is being heard and people are turning to God, from all walks of life.
We do
hope will always remember us, in giving monthly support, there are always bill
to pay. Please do keep us in your prayers, for our health, and them that work
with us. We love you all and depend on God, to lead you in the battle for souls
in Asia. We are also preaching again with our other church that also moved to
a new location. I will minister there this month to celebrate 16 years that
church has been having services. There is lots to do, God is blessing, do let us
hear from you again soon.
