Dear Supporters and friends of the Internet;
Thank you, for your prayer support, which helps us to reach out to China with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God is moving and blessing his people, above is the Easter Service at the Christian Cornerstone Church we are ministering to each month. Please pray for all of us here, as the SARS sickness is the worse in Hong Kong. Some churches are not having services because so many have died and some are very fearful. All the Churches we are ministering in are open. The Children above are being prayed for as they went out after service to witness and tell people of Jesus, in the park with some other Christian groups. We take a bus and three train rides to reach the Cornerstone Church, and they really seem to enjoy the things of God, as I minister to them. Again thank you for making this possible by your prayers and support.
Below left is a picture of a
family the FanLing Church has been helping all year that was very badly burned
in Beijing. The boy and his mom with the mask over her face, have had many
operations, and are now looking much better. They wanted to tell me Happy 63rd
Birthday, before going back to Mainland China. They still need more
reconstruction of their face and arms and could use your prayers for a quick
recovery and complete healing. In the past I have prayed for one young girl
that was badly burned on her leg, and now it is hard to even find where she was
burned. God does heal, we may not understand why some need medical help also,
but we do know God does answer prayer. So do pray for this family and also for
the church outreach to mainland Chinese, that many have never head about Jesus,
being a Communist nation.
The picture of the meeting on the lower right was taken in the Drug rehabilitation center that reaches out to the streets for drug addicts. We have been asked to minister to them, and they seem to love to hear from us and what God has done for me. Every month new ones come in from the streets, and by prayer and love they come to know Jesus. Christ is risen was my message to them, and that Christ is able to set them free. We do feel so humble to be your missionaries to these people and that you care enough to help us and pray for us, to reach the lost.
Praise God, nine have sent in $40.00 each for the youth camps and five others have said the money will be here by the end of the month. That will be 16 young people that could not afford to go to youth camp now will. We also will have day camps this summer. All funds that are marked for the youth will go to the youth meetings. In the past we have had up to 80% from families that are not Christians come. They see we love their children and care for them, they show up at Church, and some just keep coming and find Jesus as Lord of their lives. We do thank God and thank people like you all, which help us, reach these that need the Gospel. There are one day youth camps that cost about Ten US Dollars each which many can afford, still some others would love to attend if they had someone to pay for their trip on the bus and lunch, with the all the other children.
