Hong Kong, China
November 2003
Dear Internet reader;
We are thankful for your prayer support and do ask the Lord blessings to be on you as your prayers are do help us in reaching out to Hong Kong and the rest of China, with the Gospel.
These last two month have been difficult on us, as Sister Carol was back in the Hospital because of severe migraines. The doctors were concerned about her heart as she was having pain there, then said all seems to be fine, but will next year run other test to make sure she is fine. We are just thankful that the Hong Kong Government has low hospital rates for permanent residents of Hong Kong, China, which we have been for the past 14 years. Sister Carol was still able to witness and some have said they will come to the church. One is a Buddhist woman that wants to know more about God. Pray also for our members as two of our elders, have Dads that are in the Hospital, they are elderly but still can have many more years with us. One of our young people was in a motorcycle accident and is in the hospital as he hit his head and is in need of prayer. Seems when the Lord moves the devil hits out, but in the end, Jesus always wins, and the reward in souls and the blessings in the services are great.

Brother
Sheldon Dwyer, who ministered within the Philippines before coming to China, was
with us, I let him address the Church the first Sunday in November. Here is a
picture of him preaching at the church in Fanling. After service, we all went
to a meal at the restaurant with our people, along with John Dwyer and a Lady
teacher as they both are teaching English in Hong Kong.
Sister Carol is home now, and is feeling better; her migraine went away this morning and came back again this afternoon. She has had these for more then 40 years, so do pray for her healing. The doctors are trying to adjust here medications, which kept her in the Hospital for a few weeks, since the blood test showed she was having problems with what they were doing. Still she did her best to help others in the ward and witness and some have promised to come to church. We had a real good service Sunday in the Jordan Church, and fellowshipped with some folks from Canada that knows the Chinese pastors and folk we are working with. I was preaching on reaching out and the duty of believers to the lost. The churches are now having outreaches in the afternoon, each Sunday, which is a blessing. The ministry in Communist China that our Chinese people are reaching is growing. God is really touching hearts and we need your prayers to see the harvest of these labors.
We would still like to visit and minister in the Philippines for a few weeks the Lord willing when they stop fighting and bombing and shooting each at each other, pray that this can happen. The work Carol’s Dad and we ministered in is still growing. The reports are a blessing. Next month we have an open-air meeting in Fanling to share with the unbelievers the story of Jesus. Therefore, we do hope you all, have a Merry Christmas and win the lost to Jesus.
