We would like to share with you, some of the blessings God is doing here, in the above pictures you will see Brother Knapp praying for the Anniversary service of the Christian Cornerstone Church. This church is about an hour by train from our FanLing Church. In the middle are some of the members then Sister Carol and I with Pastor Esther Wong. We are now having monthly services with them. We have ministered to them in their old church over the years. The services are wonderful, and you would love to be here and feel the love for the Lord.
The FanLing Church is having more visitors each week, and a few more college age youth have given their lives to the Lord this month. Since we know have more room in the new location, people are coming and can feel at home. I gave my testimony last Sunday, I had their attention, and it is great to see the hunger for the Word of God.
We
just got a Video CD made, all in Chinese, of the youth with the Praise and
Worship meeting that the church had in the University here. This we hope to use
it to reach other Chinese and show them what God is doing in the Churches we are
working with. The end of this month, we been invited to preach at another
Chinese Church in Kowloon City, to a group of about fifty or more. They want to
hear what God has done in my life and what God can do for them. This is a
follow up from the meeting I had last month, with the Drug rehabilitation group,
they were so glad to have us, and we believe God will bless more, as you and I
believe the Lord for souls.
The doors are open, and invitations are coming in to minister, in new locations. I am glad over the years; we have trained Elders and Pastors so we can reach out to others. The only way a person is going to know about the Lord is that we, you and I, tell them. Show them by our lives and love for God. Therefore, they can also overcome problems, and God can bless them. Our church in FanLing is helping in evangelizing this week.
All are keeping busy in Christ, so the lost can see, hear, and help others, as what God did for us; we need to share with others. The weather is cold this year, our flat does not have any heat, and so we got a small 9-inch heater fan to warn the room. Carol and I are glad that we did bring our coats from the USA last year. Please keep us in your prayers as well as the work here. This is, also part of your labor, as without your support in prayer and offerings, I do not know how so much could have been done. We appreciate you and hope to hear from you soon.
I have sent out the last of January the IRS official receipt to you, for your support last year, if you have not received it, please let us know. Remember Elizabeth our daughter in prayer as she is going to have a major operation March 7th. The doctors say it will take about six weeks after they operate before she will be able to do what she is doing now.
P.S. Youth camps are coming soon, and we need US Dollar $40.00 for each young person, that could not afford to come without this help. Each year we help pay for 15 to 20 youth, to many this is their first time to hear of Jesus. I will write more in the next letter. If you can help, please do, as we will need to rent the camp for three days, and we need the money in advance in April, for the summer camps. Also will have four or five day camps this year.
