Thank you, for your prayer support. This shows your love for souls and your love of Jesus Christ.
We would like to share with you what the Fanling Church did for Resurrection day of the Lord Jesus. The many chairs were moved to the side, as many sat on the floor, to see the illustrated sermon of what Jesus did for us. The young people played the parts, and it was well done, this was the first time such was put on in the church here. Many of the members got their friends and family members to come to see the program. Pastor Amos Tsang preached a powerful message in Chinese and many were touched by the presents of the Lord. Thank you for praying for China.
It was a blessing to see, that some sent in an extra offering to help with raising cost, only we are still not able to meet the cost of staying here at this time. Then with Sister Carol having to be in the hospital so much these last few months, it has taken some extra to pay the bills. We do not have any kind of insurance for such expenses. The cost is lower here as we are residents of China but still have some bills to pay. We talked to the doctors and to some of the Churches, they think it is time for us to go back this summer and see if we can raise up support for the work that has been done and is starting to grow. Pray that the will Lord will be done. We will look forward to seeing our supporters and friends that have helped us these last 40 years in Asia. If anyone would or could help with the Airfare, of a thousand US Dollars we would be thankful. If all goes well, we will be back in June this year, to minister and see what God would have us do in the USA to help here in China and God willing in the Philippines. Sister Carol is better now. Her migraines now only last a short time and for hours now she is pain free, it has been years since she has been so blessed. The doctors are still adjusting her medicines so she will be her stay well. Sister Carol is liked at the hospital and she has invited many to the church services. Some have already visited the church.
We still want to raise $40.00 for each young person so they can go to Youth camp this summer, and will make sure the money sent will reach them. Only a few have given extra for the youth so far. You can see by the pictures we have many young people in attendance each Sunday. The Chinese pastors we have worked with are doing an excellent job and God is blessing with growth. Pray for us, since I will have to will travel to see you the lord willing, pray for many open doors. Again I not sure how to say this, just pray we can purchase or have given to us a good Van or large car that is good on gasoline, so we can travel. We have always given our all, and put the money into missions. We are blessed, as I am sure you are also. All funds given for any ministry project here will be sent fully for that ministry. We are working out exchange from US dollar to the local currency here, so we can keep support coming for China. It is hard to believe we been full time missionaries for over 40 years. We are looking forward to be with our children and grandchildren, and see our supporters. We will be ministering each week and getting things packed. We will give our household things away to them that need them, and bless everyone we can. For the Lord loves a cheerful giver. Pray for our trip back as we will fly on the 31 of May 2004 to Dallas, Texas.
