2009 NEWSLETTER
On November 14th, we were in Brookville Indiana to minister during the follow day's Sunday service. Sister Carol fell down some
steps leaving a restaurant. She fell backwards down the stairs and struck her head on the concrete. Sister Carol’s head was bleeding and for a
moment, I was afraid she had died. She was taken by Ambulance to the Hospital Emergency
Room in Oxford Ohio. At the Hospitalthey took X-Rays, and a CAT Scan of her Head and body. The tests revealed nothing was broken--thank
God, she did not break any bones.
The medical costs may not be fully covered by the restaurant's insurance. We were told their medical insurance was limited to
$5,000.00. We have not received all of the bills--but what has come in has already exceeded that limit. She
still has pain in her head and back. The doctors say she will be in pain for a few
months. Since we have no medical
insurance and Carol is not old enough for Medicare, we are trusting God that we can meet all
the bills as God has never failed us.
So far things
seem to be working out--praise God!
After the scare Carol and I experienced that Saturday we were able to
present the mission work to the Church that Sunday. We are planning to be with them again in
February 2010.
God is blessing and we know all things come together for Good to them that love the Lord. We are looking forward to returning to the churches in Hong Kong in June 2010. Our members want us to return and be with them to celebrate two weddings and several new babies will be born during the summer.The church people are like our own children. We baptized many of them with our Chinese pastor and they have been like family to us for over 20 years.
With God’s blessing and your contributions we will be able to return--to what we feel is home--China. Your support has helped us and is needed to reach the Chinese. We have establish many churches that are growing and growing. The church members let us know they love and care for us just like family. Thank you! Without your prayers and monetary gifts this work would not be possible. We pray that you will hold us up in your prayers and pray that God will help us raise the monthly support to cover the cost. In following the words of Jesus Mark 16:15 "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (NKJV).
Again please keep us in your prayers while we are in the USA and China.
Please pray for our main church, as the Day after Christmas they are planning a 'Rally,' in the center of Hong Kong; to tell the lost
about the birth of Jesus and why there is such a day as Christmas. Additionally to let them know that God so loved them he sent his Son and they can find the love of God. If you have any friend going to or living in Hong Kong, China, please copy this notice or email them so they can attend the 'Rally.' In addition a special service will be held at our church
in Sheung Shui, NT. Christian Grace Glorify Chuch is the church that we work with and started in that city. 12月31日深夜11:00-5:00 通宵祈禱會 (教會) December 31 from 11AM to 5PM.
