FALL  2009

Dear Internet readers.

We would like to say thank you for your love and support of this ministry that helps us to  reach out to Hong Kong China, and others with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

NEWSLETTER FOR JULY AND AUGUST 2009

Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. NKJV

Carol and I would like to say a big thank you all for helpping us to return and come back to Hong Kong, as the services here is like heaven came down.  It is so nice to sing in Chinese again and with full churches.  Knowing that we had a part in their growth.  Here are four women and one man in the pictures all now brothers and sisters in the Lord.  On the side photo they joined the church and have their baptism and membership certificates. Carol and I are on the right hand side with our local pastors.  The children worship in song with one playing a harmonica, in the picture to the right.  It is so nice to see the youth, the future church.

Then you can see all the folks that came out for the Baptism.  It is wonderful to follow the Lord Jesus and fellowship together.   Bottom right you can see the elderly church service that Pastor Mark has started.  Since we are running out of room in the Shueng shui Church.  It is only a ten minute walk.  So have more then one service each Sunday and Bible classes, almost every day of the week.  Then you can see me and my interperter Brother Raymond Chun,  as I am preaching to them, one elderly woman was baptized after the service.  Pray for them please since as all of us someday will be elderly or are in need of Jesus daily.

Heb 6:10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. NKJV

Our summer youth camp had to be postoned till this winter, as the Flu has made so many sick and some died.  The government  said not to have them this summer.  The church will move the youth camp till the end of the year.   I will be preaching every week now  in one of our churches till we leave In in August.  These are churches we have helped over the years.

We have had some extra cost as the rent and travel expence has not all been met yet.

God always  meets the needs and we know He will, please pray , that all will be taken care of.  Again it has been our joy to minister here in Hong Kong.   These are all Chinese believers that came to the Lord because of God sending us here.  Now it’s been 26 years in China.  Your prayer and support is one way that God does supplies and blesses both you and us.  God bless you.

Your IMA missionaries and partners in Christ,

Raymond and Carol Knapp
